Red Cross Society of India: An Overview
The Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) is a voluntary humanitarian organization dedicated to serving humanity. Established in 1920, it is headquartered in New Delhi and operates under the Indian Red Cross Society Act of 1920.Youth Redcross society was established in Govt. Degree College Bhikiyasain in year 2024.Presently there 15 redcross volunteers registered in Redcross cross level 1are 19 Redcross volunteers registered in Redcross Level 2. Youth Redcross society has conducted various programs like Awarness program on World Health Day, workshop on First Aid and CPR, World Redcross Day and World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victim, World’s AIDS Day.
Objectives
- Provide relief and rehabilitation in times of disasters.
- Offer blood donation and blood bank services.
- Promote health and hygiene awareness.
- Conduct educational and training programs.

- Disaster Relief: Assistance in floods, earthquakes, cyclones, and other calamities.
- Blood Donation: Organizing blood donation camps and operating blood banks.
- Health Services: First aid, health check-ups, and immunization.
- Education and Training: First aid, disaster management, and health education.
